In this role, you as a RFIC Design Engineer will be responsible for developing high-performance RF integrated circuit blocks for telecom and SATCOM applications. This role also involves designing innovative RF architectures, optimizing performance, and ensuring successful tape-outs. The position requires strong technical expertise in RFIC design, simulation, and layout, along with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and develop RFIC power amplifier blocks and other RF components such as drivers, LNAs, VGAs, and bias circuits.
• Conduct literature reviews and propose innovative architectures to meet stringent design specifications.
• Optimize designs for maximum performance within technology constraints.
• Build simulation test benches and perform extensive simulations using Cadence Virtuoso and Keysight ADS.
• Execute RF layout and EM extraction to accurately capture parasitic effects.
• Document design procedures and maintain progress reports.
• Collaborate with and guide other designers, reviewing their work for quality and accuracy.
• Work with validation engineers to bring up chips in the lab and fine-tune settings to meet specifications.

Required qualifications

• B.Tech. + 5 years or M.Tech. + 3 years of experience in RFIC design.
• Hands-on experience designing RFIC blocks such as power amplifiers, drivers, LNAs, VGAs, and bias circuits.
• Proven track record of designing RFIC power amplifiers from scratch.
• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, including Gain, NF, IIP3, OP1dB, ACPR, EVM, and PAE.
• Excellent grasp of DC operating point, frequency response, stability, noise, nonlinearity, efficiency, and load-pull analysis.
• Proficiency in Keysight ADS and Cadence Virtuoso suite (Schematic, Maestro, ADEXL, Layout XL, Spectre/AMS).
• Experience in RFIC layout design and EM simulation using tools like ADS Momentum, EMX, HFSS.
• Successful experience with tape-outs, test bench bring-up, and lab characterization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in SOI, HBT, or GaAs power amplifier design.
• Expertise in EM simulations using EMX, Keysight Momentum, and HFSS.
• Familiarity with SOI, GaAs, and GaN technologies.
• Knowledge of analog mixed-signal blocks (BGR, op-amps) and Verilog-based RTL.
• Understanding of post-silicon qualification procedures such as ESD and HTOL.

In this role, you will drive full-chip layout execution across a variety of applications and process technologies, while providing technical direction, mentorship, and project oversight. You will collaborate closely with circuit designers, verification teams, program management, and packaging engineers to ensure first-pass silicon success in complex technologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute full custom layout of analog/mixed-signal blocks (e.g., ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, etc.)
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of a team of junior layout engineers, providing technical guidance and quality oversight
• Plan, prioritize, and manage layout execution across multiple concurrent projects, coordinating schedules and resources to meet tapeout deadlines
• Drive layout strategy and technology qualification across multiple process nodes and technologies (e.g., CMOS, SiGe, BiCMOS, SOI, BCD)
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize layout for performance, area, and reliability
• Perform layout verification, including DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction
• Apply layout techniques to mitigate issues such as crosstalk, IR drop, and latch-up
• Provide support for post-layout simulations and tapeout activities
• Maintain design documentation and participate in peer layout reviews
• Interface with packaging and assembly teams to ensure compliance with manufacturing rules
• Work with the design and the foundry team for wafer step plan and wafer matrix.

Required qualifications

• Experience: 10-15 years of hands-on experience in RFIC/MMIC/analog/mixed-signal/custom layout design across multiple process technologies (e.g., CMOS, SiGe, BiCMOS, SOI, BCD), including experience managing multiple concurrent projects and mentoring junior layout engineers.
• Leadership & Project Management: Proven track record managing multiple layout projects simultaneously, from planning through tapeout.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior layout engineers,
• including technical training and career development
• Strong cross-functional coordination with design, verification, program management, and foundry teams to align priorities and schedules
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in analog and mixed-signal layout design, including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, DC-DC converters, LDOs, Bandgap references, Charge Pumps, Current Mirrors,
• Comparators, and Differential Amplifiers: Exposure to RF layout techniques and components such as LNA, MIXER, VCO, RX, and TX is a strong plus
• Process Knowledge: Proven experience working across multiple process technologies, including SiGe, BiCMOS, SOI, and BCD, with the ability to ramp new nodes quickly and guide the team through technology-specific layout considerations
• Layout Fundamentals: Deep understanding of matching, electromigration, latch-up, coupling, cross-talk, IR drop, and parasitic considerations
• Tools Proficiency: Experienced with Cadence and Calibre tools in a Linux environment. Scripting skills in SKILL and Perl are desirable
• Design Awareness: Ability to interpret and implement design constraints into high-quality, manufacturable layouts
• Cross-Disciplinary Knowledge: Familiarity with package and assembly rules is a plus

• A Product Manager owns the responsibility for the performance of the Product Category / Brand. Responsibilities:

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound RF Application Engineer to drive customer success and technical enablement for the Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) product line.

In this role, you will act as the technical bridge between our client, Keysight, and their customer base, providing pre-sales demonstrations, post-sales technical support, product training, and customer onboarding for complex RF and PCB design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer inquiries regarding Keysight ADS, resolving issues related to RF circuit design, simulation setup, library integration, and design workflows.
• Demonstrations & Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations, tool demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations to prospective and existing clients across industry and academia.
• Customer Training & Onboarding: Plan and execute hands-on training sessions, workshops, and product orientation programs to help clients maximize their adoption of Keysight ADS.
• Installation & Deployment: Assist clients with software installation, license configuration, version upgrades, and environment setup across desktop and network environments.

Required qualifications

Preferred qualifications

• Keysight ADS Expertise: Hands-on working experience with Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) is mandatory (S-parameter analysis, HB analysis, layout tools, EM simulation, and RF design utilities).
• RF System Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding of core RF concepts, including noise figure, gain, linearity, impedance matching, amplifier/filter design, and RF budget analysis.
• PCB Design & Workflow: Good understanding of PCB layout fundamentals, layer stackups, high-speed/RF trace routing, transmission lines, and standard EDA design flow terminologies.
